Standing Disciple Mahakasyapa Holding a Cylindrical Reliquary
A standing stone figure of a shaven-headed monk wears a loose robe with long, incised folds that fall to his feet. He holds a small cylindrical object at his waist with both hands, and a carved lotus halo frames his head. Traces of reddish pigment remain on the face and shoulders.
Look closer: Small carved lotus-petal rim of the halo is easy to overlook behind the head.
