Standing Guanyin
A standing bodhisattva carved in limestone, shown frontally with a tall topknot, a beaded necklace and a sash knotted at the waist. Long drapery falls in layered folds to a lotus pedestal, and traces of red and grey pigment remain on the surface.
Look closer: Traces of red pigment remain on the robes and a small red mark sits on the forehead.
