Statue of Neptune, Venice

A pen-and-ink drawing shows a bearded, muscular statue of a standing male figure, nude except for a drapery sash at the waist. He stands on a stepped pedestal beside a curved form near his feet, with a faint inscription reading Venice 1843 at lower right.
