Statuette of Osiris
A small corroded bronze statuette of the god Osiris, shown as a mummiform figure with arms crossed over the chest and a tall crown rising from the head. The figure stands on a long tapering tang against a plain gray background, its green-brown patina and worn surface revealing its age.
Look closer: A narrow tang tapers to a point at the base, which would have fixed the statuette into a stand or base.
