Stele with Sakyamuni and Bodhisattvas
A carved limestone stele with a pointed arch shows a standing Buddha in a rounded robe with a haloed head, flanked by two bodhisattvas standing on lotus pedestals. Flame-like scrolls and lotus rosettes fill the arch behind the figures, and the stone shows a soft gray-brown patina.
Look closer: The lotus pedestals beneath the two attendant bodhisattvas, carved at the lower corners of the stele.
