Study for "A Sunday on La Grande Jatte"

A Sunday afternoon in a riverside park, rendered in tiny dots of pure color. Figures stroll, sit and rest on grass beside the water, with a woman in a dark dress at right, a small monkey on a leash and a dog below, and sailboats on the river.

Look closer: A small monkey on a leash sits on the grass near the lower center.
