Graphite pencil sketch of a robed female figure with raised arms at the center of a circle, surrounded by faint animal and cloud forms.

Study for "Zodiac" by Francis Augustus Lathrop

A pencil sketch on paper shows a central female figure with raised arms, draped in flowing robes and set against a circular field. Around her, faint outlines suggest animals, clouds, and swirling forms, with a small monogram at lower right and a circular seal at lower left.
