Study of a Male Nude Study for "The Death of Seneca"

A graphite drawing of a muscular male nude seen in three-quarter view, head tilted up and one arm raised outward, his torso modeled with dense hatching and strong shadows. A loose drape falls across his hips, and the figure rests on an indistinct base at the bottom of the sheet.

Look closer: A red monogram-like mark sits in the lower right corner of the sheet.
