Drawing of a reclining nude woman seen from behind on rumpled cloth, in black crayon with white highlights on tan paper.

Study of a Sleeping Woman

Black conté crayon with white pastel highlights on tan paper shows a nude woman reclining on her side across rumpled cloth, her back and hip turned toward the viewer. Loose hatching shapes the shadowed drapery, while white strokes catch light on her body and the folds of fabric. A handwritten dedication appears in the lower left corner.
