Sweet Pitcherplant (Sarracenia rubra) watercolor

A botanical watercolor shows several pitcherplant stems rising above long, strap-like green leaves on a pale ground. Two tall stalks end in maroon, hooded blooms, while a tubular green pitcher with a flared rim sits at right and a brownish pitcher bends at center. The botanical detail is precise and carefully rendered.
