Taihu Garden Stone

A tall, eroded limestone rock with pitted hollows, sharp ridges and smooth folds rises from a grey granite plinth set on pale gravel. Behind it, bamboo and broad-leaved plants frame a courtyard with white chairs and wooden benches.

Look closer: Small round hollow near the upper left of the stone, showing the rock is pierced through.
