Elderly sages in a garden under pine trees, Chinese painting on silk

A painted hanging scroll on silk shows elderly robed figures in a garden beneath a twisted pine that arches across the upper right. One figure leans on a staff on a stone path at left, while others gather near rocks and shrubs in muted green, brown and ochre tones.
