Tea Bowl
A deep, rounded tea bowl with flared sides and a short, unglazed foot ring. The thick glaze runs dark brown with pale, mottled streaks and a lighter rim, and the body shows a faint, bruised-looking surface. Set against a plain dark ground, the bowl is shown in profile to reveal its form and glaze.
Look closer: A faint, pale mottled band of glaze sits low on the body, with a small unglazed area at the base.
