Black-and-white photo of a bright laboratory with tall windows, staff in white coats at wooden benches with glassware, and hanging lamps.

Laboratory interior with staff at work, St Petersburg, 1904

A black-and-white photograph of a large laboratory interior with tall windows, where about ten people in dark clothing and white coats stand and sit at wooden benches cluttered with glassware and apparatus. Lamps hang from the high ceiling, and a dark wooden stand sits at right, while the floor is bare concrete and the room looks early twentieth century.
