Black-and-white etched broadside: a panoramic river town with many ships above, dense columns of text below, and a small framed scene of fighting figures.

Panoramic view of a river town and a 1622 Dutch broadside

A black-and-white etched broadside with a wide panoramic view of a riverside town, where many small ships and tiny figures crowd the water beneath a smoky sky. Below, dense columns of Dutch text surround a small framed vignette in which armed figures fight, printed in fine lines on aged paper.
