Term in the Form of a Woman with Musical Instrument
A draped woman stands frontally within an oval frame, raising a fringed canopy above her head with one hand. Beside her, a potted plant, a lute, a harp-like instrument and other musical instruments rest on a pedestal. The fine etched hatching gives the figure a sculptural, term-like presence.
Look closer: A small ornamental mask-like bracket hangs on the right side of the oval, beside the instruments.
