Terracotta column-krater (bowl for mixing wine and water)
A large terracotta column krater in the black-figure technique, its main band showing satyrs and draped maenads in dance and procession. Figures in black silhouette with red and incised details stand against the orange clay, framed by a black lower body and a banded foot.
Look closer: Small incised details and a row of palmettes along the lower body, easily overlooked at a glance.
