Terracotta guttus (flask with handle and vertical spout)

A squat black-glazed terracotta flask with a loop handle, a vertical spout, and a ribbed, flattened body on a low foot. A small raised medallion in relief sits on the shoulder, its figure worn and hard to read.

Look closer: A small relief medallion on the shoulder shows a worn figure, likely a sphinx.
