Terracotta kylix (drinking cup)
Inside a red-figure drinking cup, a woman in a flowing chiton strides to the right, holding a small cup aloft in one hand and a long staff topped with a pine-cone-like finial in the other. Black glaze fills the ground around her, and fine incised lines define the drapery folds and hair.
Look closer: A small bird figure perches near the upper edge of the cup's interior, partly hidden by the glaze.
