Terracotta deer-shaped vessel with branching antlers and reddish-brown cross-hatched painted patterns.

Terracotta zoomorphic askos (vessel) with antlers

A terracotta vessel shaped as a deer-like animal with a stout body, short legs and a raised spout at the back. Two branching antlers rise from its head, and the buff clay is decorated with reddish-brown cross-hatched and checkered bands across the body.

Look closer: A small round loop or handle sits on the back near the raised spout.
