The Aeroplane Waltz, sheet music cover (1911)

A stylized sheet music cover showing a couple in evening dress floating among clouds, the woman's wings spread wide as a bird's. Gulls glide over a distant landscape of fields and a river, with the title lettered in large white script across the top. The illustration uses soft blue, ochre and cream tones in a line-and-wash print technique.
