An engraved anatomical plate labelled Plate 2 shows a large rectangular panel of branching, net-like white vessels on a dark ground, with Fig. 1 above. Three smaller framed details below, labelled Figs. 2, 3 and 4, show tissue samples with pale tubular and rounded forms.
