The Birth of Fand (watercolor by Da Loria Norman)

A pale, golden-toned reclining woman with loose hair and flowing drapery lies in a misty green landscape beside a dark-cloaked man who leans in close. A faint rainbow arcs across the sky above a line of trees, and the watercolor shows a cracked, worn paper edge at lower left.
