The Bodhisattvas of the Ten Stages in Attaining the Most Perfect Knowl

Six seated bodhisattvas, each within a gold halo, rise through gold and rose-colored clouds in this hanging scroll. Their jeweled crowns, layered silk robes, and gesturing hands are painted in red, green, and orange with fine line work. Gold clouds fill the background, with blue sky at the upper left.

Look closer: A red seal impression and a column of inscription characters appear at the upper right.
