Black-and-white woodcut: four women stand at left, while at right a figure sits up in a bed beside a curtain, with a banner above.

Woodcut from The Book of Knowledge, 1753 edition

A black-and-white woodcut shows four standing women in long gowns at left, and at right a figure sits up in a bed beside a drawn curtain, with a second figure leaning in and a banner with partial lettering above. Fine parallel hatching gives the scene a dense, old-print texture, with a small stool in the foreground.
