The Broiling of Their Fish over the Flame of Fire

A painted scene of two fish laid on a wooden rack over a crackling fire of stacked logs, with two more fish hanging from upright stakes at right. Smoke rises in soft grey clouds behind, and the pale sandy ground is bare under the bright, flat composition.
