The Circle of the Thieves; Buoso Donati Attacked by the Serpent

A fine engraving of a rocky cavern with three figures: two draped, hooded figures stand at left, a nude man stands at center, and a nude man at right faces a coiled serpent with smoke rising from its body. Dense hatching defines the rock and bodies, and a handwritten note appears in the lower margin.
