Pen and wash drawing of the Crucifixion: Christ on the cross center, two thieves flanking him, mourners and soldiers below.

The Crucifixion of Christ

A pen and brown wash drawing on blue paper shows Christ crucified at center, arms outstretched, with a radiant halo above the cross. Two thieves hang on crosses at left and right edges, while mourners gather at the base and a standing figure in a long robe gestures upward on the right, with soldiers behind.

Look closer: A soldier with a spear and a crowd of onlookers are faintly visible behind the figures at the right edge.
