The Infant Krishna Killing the Ogress Putana
A carved wooden figure of a seated woman with an elaborate, flame-like headdress and large earrings holds a small infant against her bare chest. Her legs are folded in a seated pose, and traces of red and blue pigment remain on the weathered surface. The figure is set on a white plinth against a plain grey background.
