Christ sits enthroned in a red mantle amid clouds, surrounded by angels and putti, while nude figures rise from green ground below. Some are lifted by angels, others crouch or stagger, their pale bodies arranged in dense, twisting groups. The painting is executed in oil on wood with fine, smooth modeling.

Look closer: A small angel with a trumpet hovers in the sky at the lower center, above the crowd.
