Divine Love and Wisdom Overcoming Sensual Indulgence, After Pietro da Cortona
An engraved allegory across a wide horizontal panel. A winged female figure and a seated bearded man rise on clouds at the top center, while below, bacchantes, satyrs and reclining figures tumble among vines and grapes in the foreground. A tiny landscape with a town appears at the left-middle distance, and an inscribed Latin text runs along the bottom edge.
