The Mexican Commander Enjoying the Prospect Opposite Matamoras

A hand-colored lithograph caricature shows a rider in a plumed shako and military coat on a brown horse, his face exaggerated with wide eyes and a large nose. He trots across grassy ground toward a river, a distant town and a small sailing boat at right. The printed caption beneath names the scene.
