The Royal Family of Troy Mourning the Death of Hector

A black chalk drawing shows a group of figures gathered around a reclining body draped in cloth. A seated woman bends over the figure while a young child leans in at left, and a standing man in a long robe watches at right. Loose, feathery strokes suggest an interior with hangings and columns behind them.

Look closer: A faint inscription and small marks appear in the lower right corner of the sheet.
