The Thousand Acres of Clouds, from Twelve Views of Tiger Hill, Suzhou
A multi-story pavilion with tiled roofs perches on a steep slope at right, shaded by bamboo and trees, with two small figures on its balcony. Pines frame the lower left, and hazy mountains recede into pale mist beyond. The scene is rendered in restrained, dry-brushed ink with minimal color.
Look closer: Two small seated figures on the pavilion balcony, and a red seal in the lower right corner.
