The Waters, pencil study by Solon H. Borglum

Faint pencil sketches on a yellowed, creased sheet show a seated or reclining figure near the center, loose foliage-like strokes at the left, and a wavy line curving along the right. A small framed vignette of two standing figures with lettering sits at upper right. The lines are so faint that the figure and water forms are hard to confirm.
