Thumb Ring
A carved pale jade piece showing a small, sinuous beast with a long curled tail and a pointed snout, crouched atop a rounded base decorated with scrolling forms. Pierced openings pass through the stone, and a yellowish russet skin shows at the left edge. The carving is smooth and softly modeled.
Look closer: Small pierced openings through the body let light show between the beast and its base.
