Transitional Blue-and-White Square Bottle
A square porcelain bottle with a narrow neck, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue on white. Each side has a framed panel: one shows a mythical lion-like beast beside a flowering plant, the other a similar creature near a pine and a distant hill. Wave-and-key borders frame the panels.
Look closer: A small bird flies in the air between the pine branches on the right panel.
