Tripod with Cover
A squat tripod vessel with a domed, fitted lid, carved all over in geometric diamond lattices and bands of scrolling key-fret and cloud patterns. Lion-mask ring handles sit on each side, and three short feet, one carved as a mask, support the body against a dark studio backdrop.
Look closer: A carved mask motif decorates the central front foot, below the body.
