Engraved procession of Roman soldiers, chariots, elephants and captives in rows beneath a Latin inscription.

Triumph of a Roman Emperor (left side)

A dense etched procession arranged in horizontal bands, showing armored soldiers with spears and standards, chariots drawn by horses, and elephants carrying figures. Latin inscription runs across the top, and numbered panels frame the lower register.

Look closer: Numbered Roman numeral labels mark each panel along the lower and middle bands.
