Vase after an ancient bronze vessel
A pale celadon jade vase rises from a footed base to a tall, tilted spout. Its surface is carved with stylized archaic bands and scrolling motifs, and a small looped handle curls at the side. Russet inclusions in the stone add warm patches of color.
Look closer: Small carved taotie-style face pattern visible on the lower body beneath the handle.
