Vase
A bottle-form porcelain vase with a white ground, painted in fa-lang enamels with a garden scene of children at play among green shrubs. A standing youth with a fan and a bald child peer around a figure in lavender robes, while a boy kneels in pale green. The neck is decorated with scrolling foliage in yellow and green, and two pink handles project from the shoulder.
Look closer: A small bald child peers out from behind the standing figures, partly hidden by foliage.
