Vase (Meiping)
A pale green celadon vase of the meiping form, with a rounded shoulder, tapering body and short flared neck. Fine horizontal throwing ridges run around the body and the glaze is smooth and translucent, with an unglazed foot ring at the base.
Look closer: A small rounded chip and glaze wear on the rim of the mouth, plus a faint crack line near the lower body.
