Vase (Meiping) with Waves
A tall, rounded stoneware vase with a short neck and flared lip, covered in a cream glaze. Dark slip has been brushed on in repeated rows of curling wave crests that wrap around the body, with a band of dark glaze at the foot.
Look closer: The dark glaze band and faint crackle at the foot of the vase are easy to overlook.
