Vase with Golden Pheasants

A garlic-neck porcelain vase painted in enamels on white glaze. A golden pheasant with a red-banded tail perches on a rock beside a smaller brown bird, with pink peonies and branches below and above. Bands of pink scrollwork and blue flowers encircle the neck.

Look closer: A small pink flower bud and sprig rise on the left side of the vase body, partly hidden among the leaves.
