Vase with Three Rams' Heads

A baluster-form cloisonné vase with a flared neck, covered in turquoise ground and scrolling lotus and peony sprays in red, yellow, and white enamel between gilt bands. Three gilt elephant-head handles with ring-held trunks sit on the shoulder, and gilt borders frame the decorated body.

Look closer: A metal ring hangs from the trunk of the central elephant-head handle, clasped in its mouth.
