Virgin and Child in Majesty, wooden sculpture
A carved wooden seated figure shows the Virgin enthroned, her long mantle falling in deep parallel folds, with the Christ Child seated upright on her lap. Traces of old paint remain on the faces, hands and throne posts, and the pale wood is worn and darkened in places.
