Virgin and Child with Saint Catherine of Alexandria
A seated Virgin in a pale headscarf and green-lined cloak cradles a nude infant on a blue drape, her gaze lowered toward him. At right, a golden-haired saint holds a palm frond and looks down at the child. Dark foliage and red roses frame the group against a stormy sky.
Look closer: A small red rose cluster hangs in the upper left foliage near the tree branches.
