Wine Cup with Children at Play

A small porcelain cup with rounded walls and a footed base, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze red and green enamels. Two children play in a garden: one sits on red rocks, the other kneels and holds a sprig, beneath pine boughs and scrolling clouds.

Look closer: A small green sprig and a figure's blue outlines are painted on the cup's lower side, and the pine needles are shaded in several greens.
