Wine Vessel (Fu Wu Zun)
A tall bronze wine vessel (zun) with a flaring trumpet mouth, a narrow waist and a splayed foot, its surface covered in green and reddish patina. Raised bands of stylized animal masks and spiral motifs, with vertical fluting in the middle register, wrap the body in a symmetrical pattern.
Look closer: Small pointed projections (flanges) rise at the top corners of the flared mouth, each shaped like a stylized bird or ear.
