Wine Vessel (Hu)

A tall bronze wine vessel with a narrow flared neck and a swelling body tapering to a splayed foot. A band of raised scroll and key-like patterns encircles the neck below a ribbed collar, and a similar band decorates the base. The surface is covered in green and reddish corrosion.

Look closer: A faint dark stain and reddish corrosion patches mark the shoulder, showing the uneven burial patina.
